Pay To Use Toilet In The Sky
June 3rd, 2009 | Posted by in InterestingIf Ryanair has its way, passengers who travel by its budget aircrafts would have to shell out money to use the toilets in flight. It plans to eliminate two of the three toilets in the Boeing 737-800 and, in its place, make way for six additional paying seats. The logic is astounding – the flights within Europe usually do not last more than an hour. Why should anyone, then, want to go to the loo? When the passengers know that they will have to pay money to use the facilities, they would finish the loo work before boarding the aeroplane! Ryanair already levies a service charge called baggage check-in fees. When the loo fee is added, it will add up to substantial amounts. As the saying goes – ‘little drops of water….’
